Easy to Use
Most people reviewing this have had no problems using this air compressor straight out of the box. It’s as simple as charging the battery, adding the right nozzle and reading the screen. It doesn’t get much more straightforward than this.
It functions as a standard Schrader inflator (like you see at gas stations) and they’ll inflate car tires up to 20 inches without a sweat. There are three adapters included: Tapered, needle and Presta. Tapered can be used for all of those inflatable toys that take over your backyard. The needle is perfect for sports balls and the Presta valve works on bicycle tires. The 120 PSI should be enough to inflate those high-end bicycle tires.

The EcoSharp function they mention means that you shouldn’t see a power fade through the battery drain. That said, we don’t recommend this for tasks that require extended use.
You don’t realize what a joy it is to have an easy to read LED pressure read out until you don’t have one. This makes it great for inflating all types of tires from lawn mowers, to tractors to bicycles.
The auto shut-off at a preset pressure isn’t just a great safety feature, it’s a great feature, period. Especially in the winter, when you’re trying to fill a tire and clean ice off of your windshield at the same time. The less time spent out in the cold, the better.
The selection of nozzles and pin attachments are varied enough to complete most tasks around the house. Car tires, volleyballs and any other short tasks can be handled. We don’t recommend trying to use this as a spray paint gun or to drive other power tools. There are better options on the market for those tasks.
Our Opinion
If you’re looking for a portable air compressor that you can use around the house for light use, we highly recommend the Sun Joe 24V-AJC-LTE 24V 2.0-Amp Cordless Portable Air Compressor. It’s budget-friendly, needs no outlet while in use, and is comfortable to handle.
Again, don’t try extending this to be more than it is. It just won’t have the power, PSI, or battery life to get heavy jobs done. You also want to make sure the battery is fully charged. It can get fussy without a fully charged battery. As for larger items like kayaks, you can inflate items like that, but you’ll need to be patient.
We also recommend picking up the warranty if it’s offered during your purchase. We don’t always recommend this, but for a few extra dollars, you’re covered if something weird happens (and doesn’t it always?)
The bundles at Amazon are sometimes a good deal, and sometimes, not so much. Don’t think you need a lot of bells and whistles for this air compressor. You should be good to go as soon as it arrives on your doorstep.
