Who is This Air Compressor For?
Obviously, the DeWALT product is for anyone that needs to inflate tires. Having said that, it truly is an exceptional tire inflator. If you find yourself doing tasks like inflating bicycle tires for an event where you would need to use an inflator over and over again as part of a support vehicle, you’d want something like this that’s portable and can easily get the job done quickly.
This wouldn’t be suitable for people looking for low volume projects like airbrushing.
You can’t go wrong with the DeWALT name behind it. For a cordless product, this is an exceptionally powerful tire inflator. It’s all it was designed to do and it does it very well.

Yes, it is cordless and you will need a battery and a charger for it, but DeWALT manufactures a very good battery and charging system. The battery needed for this tire inflator is compatible with other DeWALT tools, so if you already have any cordless tools by DeWALT, you’re all set.

What People Love About the DeWALT DCC020IB
Portability
One of the best features of the DeWALT 20V MAX is that it’s surprisingly portable. Yes, you expect it’ll be portable, but it’s still better than expected. You can take this just about anywhere and it’ll get the job done for you without any hassles. It isn’t overly powerful so don’t expect it to inflate, say truck tires, but that’s the trade-off.
Accurate
A good tire inflator that’s powerful is still not worth a dime if it isn’t accurate. The DCC020IB does not disappoint. Quite often, you’ll find a portable tire inflator under inflated a tire but it won’t indicate this on its pressure gauge. The DCC020IB has spot-on accuracy, which is important for smooth rides and smooth handling of any tire or inflatable.

Easy to Use

This particular DeWALT air inflator does not come with a battery. DeWALT products that are labeled, “Bare,” or have a “B” on the end of their product number mean that the battery and battery charger are not included.
It can be powered on an AC (120 volt) or DC (12 volt) current, but that negates some of the portability. A 12V DC power cord is included.
If you already have DeWALT products, the batteries are interchangeable with this product and you can just add this tire inflator to your arsenal. Otherwise, you’ll need to purchase a battery and charger as well.
